Museum Guislain in Ghent

Until June 30 of next year, there is an exhibition about war and trauma in the museum Guislain in Ghent.Besides the many photos there are also paintings, drawings and sculptures to see. One of the most shocking work that there is to see is  the famous collagework of James Nachtwey “The Sacrifice”. This work that consists of 60 photographs taken at various places like Kosovo, Rwanda and other hellholes where there are warconflicts. I recommend this expo. The pictures of Tim Dirven and Stephan Van Fleteren are also in the expo.

This is an image of South Vietnamese Major General Nguyễn Ngọc Loan publically executing a Viet Cong soldier during the Vietnam War. This is a still photo, however, the execution aired live on national TV.
